Project Management & Delivery

We know that communication is key in achieving excellence in your project’s delivery. Your team and the Project Manager will communicate daily – and our electronic project management tools will help to automate as much of the project as possible, from beginning to end. From collaboration to purchasing management, cost control, document management, field administration, and scheduling, our electronic tools help us to efficiently and productively manage projects of any scale.

We also conduct weekly onsite meetings with the team and subcontractors to review all aspects of the project – including progress, safety, and coordination. Our project team also conducts regular meetings with subcontractors to go over job progress, scheduling, and deliverables. Our philosophy of frequent and open communication ensures that issues are quickly brought to everyone’s attention, addressed, and resolved.

We will perform a large portion of the project work in-house, including such tasks as demolition, clearing, earthwork (grading, balancing, etc), utility installation (sewers, foundations, backfill, etc), and more. Being able to perform a large part of the work ourselves helps to keep the project on schedule.

Safety

At NC Contracting Services, LLC we have a strong commitment to safety. We will address issues related to the applicable safety concerns for the site and the job, including emergency response, site cleanliness, utility work, and traffic flow. Our employees attend OSHA & HAZMAT courses regularly.

Quality Control

We will develop a project-specific Quality Control Plan that is uniquely designed to address the issues and project flow of each individual project. We will work with the Land Surveyor to create specific procedures to ensure that initial locations are correct, with verification along the way as the project progresses. We will also create and implement processes for grading and earthwork that will confirm proper layout and testing of the road stone base in addition to asphalt and concrete pavement/sidewalks.
